2. Study
Look, listen and repeat the new words together. Repeat the words many times. You can say them in different ways e.g. loudly, quietly, happily, fast, slow etc. The kids love inventing new ways!
Use the PowerPoint-presentations or Flashcards that you can find on the right hand side..

3. Activities
Choose and print one or two activities from the right hand side. Interactive games and activities are good at this point but you may also choose a simple worksheet.

Other Activity Ideas:
Simon Says
- A student/teacher gives instructions e.g. Simon says walk.
- Everyone must walk.
- The players must obey all commands that begin with the words Simon says.
- If student/teacher says, Jump! without saying Simon says first the players must not jump.
- If they do jump, that player is out or what has been agreed together in a case of a mistake.
- The winner stays in the game making least of the mistakes.
- Can be played also in small groups.
Yes!
- Together come up with movements/actions for words e.g. SING, WALK, JUMP, SIT, CLAP.
- Play with you pair/ or together with the whole class so that the caller comes in front of the class.
- One/caller says Let’s walk! and everyone starts to do the same movement; walk.
- One replies Yes, let’s walk and dance! and everyone makes the movement for walk and dance.
- Change the caller.
Pantomime
- Form groups of 3-4.
- Assign 4-5 action words to every group or let students choose their own action words. Do not reveal these words to other players.
- Each group plans a performance pantomiming the words and performs it twice to other students.
- At he first time no one is allowed to say anything, but after/during the next round all the others can guess the action words.
Sally Says
Inverse version of Simon says game. However Sally must be obeyd everytime. Sally says is used every time with the action.
- Everyone must do the opposite of what Sally says.
- Action word used e.g. STOP- RUN, STAND-SIT, JUMP, WALK ja CLAP.
- However, when Sally says CLAP everyone must clap.
- When Sally says STOP, everyone must RUN.
- When Sally says STAND everyone must SIT.
Make sure that your students are comfortable playing Sally says, start with just few actions.

- revising the words once more using the PowerPoint presentation or flashcards (images only)
