Use the PowerPoint-presentations or Flashcards that you can find on the right hand side..

You may choose to study only 6 words or all the 12 words at once.
- happy
- sad
- angry
- hungry
- thirsty
- tired
- big
- small
- tall
- short
- fast
- slow
3. Activities
Choose and print one or two activities from the right hand side. Interactive games and activities are good at this point but you may also choose a simple worksheet.
You can also find the words on Quizlet.
Other Activity Ideas:
Pantomime
- Put adjective card to hat or little bag/container.
- Pick one card at the time from the hat.
- The one who picked the card tries to make everyone else guess what word it is by pantomiming the word.
Bigger, smaller
- Students form a circle.
- Use adjectives e.g. TALL, SHORT, SMALL, BIG. LONG.
- Bigger-version is played first. Ensiksi pelataan suurenee-ver.
- One will start and says one adjective e.g. TALL and keeps his/hers hands almost together leaving a small gap in between.
- Next player says also TALL and makes the gap between the hands a little bit bigger. Seuraava sanoo myös tall ja suurentaa käsien väliä.
- Next player does the same and the movement gets bigger and bigger until it is impossible to have hands any further apart.
- All adjectives are said/played.
- Last the smaller-version is played by starting with the biggest gap between the hands and making the gap smaller by each player.
Tip: Can be played in groups of three by using the the comparisons of adjectives: TALL, TALLER, TALLEST.
